2. Receive a confirmation email that says you're on the Amnesty Int'l at UCSD list-serv.
3. Attend the meetings every week if you're able to.
4. Stay connected through our meeting minutes if you're unable to attend.
5. Look for upcoming events and participate in them whenever you're able to.
6. Initiate campaign items and events as you become aware of them.
1. Spend Time With a Refugee
If you have a car and some free time, consider helping a refugee transition into his or her new life through International Rescue Committee! Just follow this link to learn more.
International Rescue Committee is a non-profit organization that resettles, supports, and advocates for refugees and other displaced persons, as well as provide humanitarian aid.
2. Shop at Ralph's With Your Club Card
If you shop at Ralph's and you have a Ralph's card - and if you don't, you can start going there now - there's a great way for you to help a great org! Up to 4% of your purchases can go to help Survivors of Torture, International, and it won't cost you anything (extra)! Just follow this link, select the "Participant" option, agree, register your club card under Survivors of Torture's NPO number (#84761), and remember to shop at Ralph's. It's that simple!
Survivors of Torture, International is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting the survivors of politically-motivated torture who arrive here from all over the world.
3. Improve Your Vocabulary
